The LH - 860 wafer mounter model is an automatic wafer mounter with a superior thin wafer handling capability.  Additionally, an advanced method of vacuum mounting provides the user with a guarantee of absolutely no air bubbles and uniform tape tension every time.

The vacuum mounting technique reduces and spreads the pressure on the wafer surface, nothing touches the wafer except tape and edge support.  With more traditional roller mounting methods, pressure variations on the wafer surface are unavoidable and can lead to wafer breakage. The vacuum mounting system also achieves a better and more uniform adhesion between the wafer and the tape, compared to conventional systems.

The LH 832 Semiautomatic Wafer Mounter offers air bubbles free mounting and minimal contact with the wafer.

The 8-inch wafer capability system provides high accuracy in X-Y-Z rotation.

The mounter has a UV Tape capability and enables partial wafer mounting.
